A lot of basic volatility has been occurring since the Bond Vigilantes attacked the markets on August 3rd. Interest rates went up and key markets did a little back off, but by and large, major indices have tried to ignore the situation. Our model exited all climate related stocks and some short positions were triggered. We have yet to see the expected cleanout for this early stage of the bubble. Again, the fact that Trump’s ability to muscle the market is rapidly receding is a key ingredient here.
