Crash Protection Mode…with update

Yesterday we entered what I term in our Climate Tech Model as “Crash Protection Mode” which has five different levels, C-0 through C-4. We are now in C-0, warnings are being triggered but no definitive crash triggers yet a C-1 signal may be triggered today as at this very moment 9:50 AM CDT, if the market closed where it is now a C-1 signal would be triggered. If that occurs we will hedge positions in short ETF SPXS. The S&P 500 is now the most vulnerable sector. This kind of setup is rare and usually takes 20 to 30 days before a C-4 crash signal actually.

We will keep you abreast of the signals.

Update on close.

C-1 signal triggered on close, all positions in the Climate Tech Model are now effectively hedged. Now we can let the market thrash around for maybe a week or two, if the C-4 signal is hit the Model will go short with SPXS.

As mentioned earlier the S&P 500 is the most vulnerable as it is loaded up with ETF’s that do not react until something like a 30 % hit comes across the screen.
