What do we really think ?

Sometimes a few basics need to be reviewed like:  are we bullish or bearish?  To us everything is in degrees and in macro economic/political terms.  Technical indicators are used as crutches not deciders, as George Bush would say.  Our leverage ratios run from 0:1 to 2:1 or 0 percent to 200 percent long or short.

So here is our gauge that we use internally:

             200 percent Long……………….Extremely Bullish

             150 percent Long……………….Very Bullish

             100 percent Long………………Bullish

               50 percent Long………………Kind of Bullish

                 0 percent Long/Short……Neutral

               50 percent Short……………..Kind of Bearish

              100 percent Short……………Bearish

              150 percent Short……………Very Bearish

              200 percent Short…………..Extremely Bearish

             So at the moment we are between kind of bullish and bullish on stocks.
