The Republican party is in decline. It probably needs an Eisenhower era, an era of working for the people. At the moment the only Republican leader that has a chance is Liz Cheney. To review the decline you can probably go back to 1980 to see the supply siders, the Tea Party, the Trumpers to see why the moderate wing has left the party. I left in 2003.
