A President who would Fire Yellen
The Fed talks a lot about their dual mandate, the inflation rate and employment levels. And with that approach they have totally ignored a higher level of performance, what I will call “Do the Right Thing”. There low ball approach is primarily based around “Trickle Down”. In its modern application, this all started with Ronald Reagan’s administration and the supply-siders. The Fed Chiefs, Greenspan and Bernanke, have enabled this philosophy in a big way.
With the upcoming election I am looking for a candidate who will address the issue of inequality which is part of the bubble creation policies pushed by Greenspan, Bernanke, and Yellen. I want a President who will not be part of the in-crowd and perpetuate the failed direction that started with Reagan. As an aside I would say that probably the last two great Presidents were Truman and Nixon. Maybe what made them great was the fact that neither got a degree at Harvard and were willing to speak their mind and push for a positive direction for the common man/woman.
