Eight Years Completed on Thursday, January 21 2016

It will be eight years completed since our January 22, 2008 opening day.  The period covered has been eventful in terms of the Economy, the Markets, and politics.  My original plan was to write this blog through the end of the long economic cycle I find important, that cycle ends in October 2017.  At this moment I see no reason to change this plan as the most volatile wrap-up part of this cycle which started in 2000 is right in front of us.

There are days when I wonder why I have gone to the trouble to provide free information on an investment approach that only a small part of the population understands, and which an even smaller part of the population has implementation strategies.  In essence I think it would be fair to say that the majority of the readers and viewers of this website will not comprehend the value until it is too late for them. Over the past couple of weeks I put some effort at looking at what some reviewers view as the top 20 market blog sites.  It was an interesting and enlightening experience and speaks to the story the market is telling.

With those thoughts in mind we will be announcing significant changes for the site on January 22nd, the eight year anniversary.
