A Saturday Review

This New York Times Article printed yesterday is probably the best behind the scenes look at what led to our current bank problem. One thing come to mind in reading this, Paulson and Cox have to be watched closely in their remaining three months in office (it would probably be too disruptive to kick them out now) as they were key players in setting up the problem.

On another issue, there does seem to be real movement in Chicago to quickly put in place exchange trading of the distressed issues.  That has been our hope from the very beginning of the solution process.
